Your Creditor Can't Be Trusted: And That's Nothing New

The ugly truth about credit cards is that creditors can raise your rates or impose fees with little to no warning. In fact, they often do. Researcher TowerGroup says that consumers paid $14.6 billion in late fees and penalties during 2008.
