Move Beyond Minimum Payments in Tight Times
If debt piling up and you find it difficult to make more than the minimum payment each month, it’s time to start finding other sources of money to help speed up your debt repayment. Paying just the minimum may keep you from racking up late fees, but it will often take decades and thousands of dollars in interest before the debt is paid off. Even an extra 20 bucks on each payment can go a long way in getting you out of debt sooner and save a lot of money in finance charges.
